The A2D2 Story
Some things are worth preserving.
The warmth of a record. The hiss before the music starts. The feeling of sound that was made by human hands, in a room, with intention. In a world that's moved almost entirely to digital, those things don't have to disappear. They just need a little help keeping up.
A2D2 was born from a personal frustration. Pete is a veteran sound engineer who has spent years chasing perfection in studios with some of the world's most celebrated artists. He still wanted to listen to his records, but he didn't want to haul out the old gear every time. When he looked at what was available, there was one option. It was locked into a single brand's ecosystem and cost a small fortune. That wasn't good enough.
So he did what engineers do. He grabbed a Raspberry Pi, some cables, a few audio interfaces, and started experimenting. A few weeks later, he heard his records coming through wireless speakers for the first time. That moment of pure elation became the foundation of everything A2D2 is today.
With a background spanning professional audio and consumer product development, including bringing practical, responsible products to market for major global brands, Pete had exactly the skills needed to turn a prototype into something real. Something that works with Sonos, HEOS, AirPlay, Chromecast, and Bluetooth. Something that doesn't force you into one ecosystem or cost a fortune. Something small, with a genuinely big mission.
A2D2 USA exists to bring that solution to American listeners. Because great sound, warm, analogue, and alive, belongs in every room of your home. On your terms.
